Distilling a company’s entire brand into a single, beautiful mark is no easy feat. It requires countless hours of research, concepting, sketching, finessing, and sometimes, going back to the drawing board. Even so, they’re my favorite kind of project to work on.

Here are a few I’ve designed over the years.

  1. The Southern Growth Studio, an innovation and business consulting firm with offices in Memphis, TN and Oxford, MS.
Awards: Published in Graphis Logo Design 8, LogoLounge 5: 2,000 International Identities by Leading Designers, and winner of a Gold Addy at the local AAF Awards
  2. Faerytelling, a nonprofit group in Austin, TX that organizes childrens’ storybook readings at local libraries, by volunteers dressed as various story characters.
Awards: Published in LogoLounge 5: 2,000 International Identities by Leading Designers
  3. Sirius, a custom homebuilder in Texas.
    Awards: Published in LogoLounge 8
  4. Core Messaging, a group of nationally recognized speakers, authors, and consultants that help business owners articulate “the fundamental principles that connect how you do what you do with what your audience truly cares about.”
  5. Logomark for the Bowl-a-Rama, an annual bowling competition and fundraising event sponsored by the Mobile Film School in Austin, TX.
  6. LeadMAP, a “Mobile Analytical Platform” that quickly and easily detects the amount of lead in drinking water.
  7. Crucial Four, a nutritional superfoods company that focuses on optimizing and balancing fitness, energy, rest, and emotion.
  8. Giant Noodle, a national network of elite freelance creatives with appearances in Cannes, One Show, Communication Arts, and/or D&AD.
  9. Outdoor Adventure Centers, a Virginia-based company that provides trip planning, rafting tours, equipment rentals, and camping. They also build and maintain trails and remote cell phone towers.
  10. T-shirt design for the Southern Growth Studio.
